Remember last July when we rocked the stage at Al Fest? Neither do we! But it must have happened because there are two cool items now for sale that document the event!
First, there’s an amazing two-disc DVD that documents the whole Al Fest convention. If you weren’t able to make it, this is all you need! It features a bunch of the comedy music acts performing, including Hot Waffles rocking “We Suck Live” (as well as our new “jingle” opening). You can get your own copy right here!
Another cool item is the 2010 Al Fest Calendar, featuring a ton of great photos from the event. Hot Waffles is featured in February, the most romantic of all months, of course, alongside such indomitable musical forces as Count Smokula! Just click the calendar below and relive Al Fest all year long!
This set helps get Hot Waffles and all of your favorite comedy bands to Marscon and is comprised of tracks recorded live at MarsCon 2009, and includes music by Rob Balder, Possible Oscar, Positive Attitude, The Nick Atoms, Devo Spice, Worm Quartet, Power Salad, the great Luke Ski, MC Lars, The Feng Shui Ninjas, Wally Pleasant, participants in the Dementia Fan Showcase, DJ Particle, Carrie Dahlby, Marc Gunn, W. Randy Hoffman, Beth Kinderman, Soggy Potato Chips, and Insane Ian.
For all of the details and complete track listing, visit Marscon Dementia.
Here’s a video of a young girl talking about Al Fest 2009. Check out all the fun that was had by all, and if you don’t blink, you may just see Hot Waffles!
We had an absolute blast at Al Fest 2009! Not only was it very cool seeing presentations by Dr. Demento and Bermuda Shwartz, but it was great seeing Jim West and Ruben Valtierra perform their own music. We also got to see our old pals Throwing Toasters, Raymond & Scum, Devo Spice and Tony Goldmark rock the stage. Plus, we got to meet Victoria Jackson, Gedde Wattenabe, David Bowe and Jay Levey from UHF.
A great day was had by all. Weird Al fans are the greatest fans in the world!
